Seems he lifted his car and the handle came off his Harbor freight Jack and now he’s unable to reinsert the handle. to lower the car. Any input is much welcomed!

Insert handle of hammer and pump it back far enough to swap the proper jack handle in? Leverage won’t be great, but it might be enough to  work in a pinch.

he tried that. couldn’t get it to go.. I told him I can help afterwork but I’m stuck till 430.

just like unscrew the filler spot? it’s under pressure so it’ll just flow out lowering it car but making a mess, correct?

I did the same thing a while ago and there was much swearing involved, but I can't remember how I fixed it, sorry.

Yeah, just do it slowly, and it’ll go down.  That’s if you can’t just lower it like normal.  I’m confused how this happened...

yeah but it was too small to reach the height of the jack. he got a 2nd jack and put it on blocks and got it out, fixed it and then swapped it and lowered it down
