Took the kids for ice cream last night, and this was there.

I am pretty sure that is a Corvette, Mercedes badges notwithstanding. What say you Oppo?

What do you think? My son, age 17, loved it, especially the interior, as you can see from him gawking in the window.

I personally do not care for this. It looks like a car wearing a Halloween costume, and the bi g Mercedes badges annoy me. Without those, it might be whimsical, but with them it is stupid. Just an opinion. Whay's yours?

I HATE red interior! Or any interior color. I like color accents but not full color.

Overall that looks like a decent build quality wise

Most of these suffer from inconsistencies in the aesthetic and fall apart there. This one, is ridiculous bulgey fiberglass all the way through. HOWEVER: there is not *enough* of that aesthetic.

I’d drive it, but I would have to commit to the Dunham-itude of it a little more. Right now it’s too pimptastic to be as boring as it is, and too traditional to be as camp as it is.

It’s not my style, but if it didn’t have the Mercedes logos I’d be far less repulsed. I’d need a close up in person look to judge fit and finish to pass final judgement.

As a small child, I loved these. Then, I found them repugnant. Now I don’t care.

I am thinking an interior swap into a regular C4 would be quite nice.

I've always liked these but never really pursued buying one as 99% are automatics and I just can't get excited by that.

Yeah, I see Corvette in there as well.

Not my cup of tea, but if the owner likes it, more power to him.  But, I’d ditch the Mercedes emblems.

I believe this is a Phillips Berlina from around 1980.

MB should sue over use of the star.  And I am saying that as someone who had a thing for neoclassics (Excaliburs especially) when I was a little kid.

Only as accents to a proper black interior. And if it has one of those awful “light upper elements” it is even worse. WHY RUIN THE INTERIOR ?!

This is thoroughly ridiculous in a good way. I like it, but I’d never buy it.

Also if you drive this while dressed any less formally than an upper crust socialite before 1929 then why do you even own this car? You can’t go halfway with this thing.
