Dayum. I had to check to make sure that wasn’t our jet. Sounds like he was an angry dude to start with.

I’m really curious as to how it ended up flipping that car like that, I’m not quite seeing the scenario.

Strong house or flimsy plane. Might be a scenario where tacked-on brick veneer is helpful.

Reminds me of the old no-win question “When did you stop crashing light planes into your wife?”
/sorry

missing the starboard wing, maybe it was a cross the street and the wing clipped it and launched it into the yard.

When I first heard about this earlier (before pics) I assumed maybe a 4-6 place piston. This appears to be a midsize business jet. That could have done some damage, but based on this pic he probably landed a little short and that gray car helped dissipate the energy. Good thing for the two people inside.

Maybe, but given the house on the other side of the street, it seems like it would be quite hard to come in low enough to hit a car

The only thing that can stop a bad guy with an airplane is a... good gal with a. ..house?

im trying to wrap my head around the whole thing. From the fact that there is very little penetration on the home I would have to guess it came down like a rock instead of flying into it.

It’s a CitationJet 525 (not this exact aircraft)

Thanks...usually very rec
ognizable (
in better condition)
since Cessna didn’t get the “swept wing” memo until the 90s :P

Well, that was a stupid way to die.
Reminds me of the guy who flew into the IRS building here in Austin.

You used the P-word, but you forgot the F-word. Fuselage, that is.

I suspect he did not hit the house head on, the plane
may have spun during impact
somewhat to come to rest as it did.

Mazda3, previous gen?

yeah he didn’t get a direct hit thats for sure or this would have been a much sadder story.

I think so

NBC nightly news just said “alleged” assault.
Maybe you should believe her now.

Sorry, that was directed at NBC.
They don’t listen to me though, so I’m venting.

So dude gets busted for abuse, and his revenge is to try and kill his victim (and child)
with a plane, with which
he misses a 2000+ sq. ft. house, and hits the postage stamp-sized front yard. See picture of pilot next to
