Growing up as a kid until I was like 8 or so, we had a lower-trim-level model of this car in station wagon/estate form with beige interior. No digidash or any of that stuff. I don’t remember it all that well, but it met it’s demise after dad hit some ice on the way home - ripped the front bumper and rear bumpers off and put a lot of huge dents on both ends, but he started it back up and drove it home the rest of the way. The 6000 wasn’t GREAT, but it seemed reliable enough and always did what was asked of it. I think ours had a V6 of some sort?
It was totaled in that accident and we got a 1993 Dodge Caravan SE short-wheelbase to replace it with. I still miss that van.

Iwant one, but I want one that's rough on the outside so I can deck it out as if it's an 80s era IMSA car or DTM or something.

I had an ‘88 STE, loved that car. I prefer the ‘88 steering wheel to the ‘89, still has all the buttons but the ‘89's is kinda curvy where the ‘88 had all the buttons in a rectangle at the middle. Good cars though, GM was still kinda trying at that point.
