Several of us went back to the Tail of the Dragon after an early dinner , with two per car, to watch cars and motorcycles at the overlook as the sun went down. Happily, I avoided killing my passenger when I tried to catch a WRX, although it was a close call. See what you folks are missing by not being at the Oppomeet?
We also stopped by Fontana Dam to see it lit up at night and so Jordan could get arty photographs of his Fiesta.
As you can see, my photo is not super artistic.

Yes! Yes I do know what I missed ! That’s why I suggested next month!
But, uh, not the weekends of the 7th, 14th, 28th, or October 5th. I mean I guess it could be, but they still haven’t found the body of the last person to make me miss a Mid-Ohio event I planned to attend.

To be clear, it is also possible to miss that by attending the oppo meet if one is to run off early with a 55 year old lard basket and be hooning along US 74 at that time instead.

See my comment for suggested dates. Unless you wanna come up to Mid-Ohio. Which is better.

Any of the remaining ones are good for.
No track time for now, car isn't ready.

Does the car run? Does the car drive? Is attempting to operate the car going to kill you? No?
It’s track ready. Competitive? Probably not. But it’s ready.
Race everything .
