I have a tonsil so infected and swollen that I’m almost in tears from the pain when I try to eat. OTC p ainkillers do nothing. Antibiotics did nothing. I’m going on a week now of almost n othing but pudding and ice cream.

So far, so good. Wife and kid are both having a nap. I’ve got last nights Live PD playing because I was too focused on the internet to pay attention while it was on last night. Strangely, I’m doing the same thing again right now, even though it’s too early on a weekend for much online excitement.

The air is slightly better but it’s still hot. Got in a quick bike ride, going to work on the bathroom remodel and go see Mission Impossible 6 or whatever tonight.

Strange times for August in north Texas. It’s cool and rainy, and is supposed to stay that way for several days. Highs only in the low 80s at most.

Not long had something to eat.

American style coleslaw, cheese burger with BBQ sauce and some ‘loaded’ chips with bacon and jalapenos.

Unfortunately it’s now time to shower, sh!t and shave before headed off to work. Four night shifts back to back, off Wednesday, in Thursday, payday Friday and weekend off. Not that I’m counting.
