I wasn’t especially productive. Called out of work due to strep. Went to the Dr.’s, filled up my tires next to this cool lightship, mowed the lawn. That’s about it.

I believe this is WLV-612 but there are three extant Nantucket lightships so who knows

I cleaned out about a third of my garage. It’s over 100 degrees in the garage, so I’m doing it in stages. I was going to wait until it got cooler, but that would be December, and I’m sick of the mess. Other than that, I posted pictures of airplanes on Oppo.

Slept in, checked fluids in the TL (J37s like to burn oil but mine doesn’t have that problem), drove the Prelude for the first time since I bought the TL, ate lunch, went to work. Still at work.

Went on a short hike down to some tide pools. Caught some cool little critters amd saw a bunch of sea turtles. Kids are now napping while my wife and I drink a beer.

A thing of the past here. Most places charge 50 cents or even a dollar. But yeah I can buy my own compressor now. Or maybe just a whole gas station in a rough part of town. The money is from selling my old house. Once the wire clears I plan to put the vast majority of it into my current house that I bought with 5% down to get up to 22% and drop the mortgage insurance. I did make a bit more than I expected on the sale though so I do think I’m going to have a little fun with a few thousand of it. Althoigh I really want to blow it on an old Miata, I’d rather use it to do more fun things with my family by putting it towards this winter’s lift tickets and a small vacation in the spring. Also I should probably fix the exhaust on my Forester that has divorced the headers and wakes up the whole neighborhood but it’s so much more entertaining the way it is now and we don’t have any vehicle inspections here  in New Mexico...

I drove about 550 miles round trip to the Western Slope and back. Started work at 7, got home half an hour ago.
