While going through some boxes a couple weeks ago, I came across a cheap little film camera that I had when I was a kid. It doesn’t exist on the internet, it’s called an Opus Big View 600. Takes 35mm film, has an auto flash that is extremely annoying, and a fixed lens, no zoom, no focus adjustment. I got a box of 3 rolls of Kodak Gold 200 from walmart because cheap, just to see what kind of pictures it could even take. Here’s the ones that turned out the “best”. I haven’t adjusted them or anything yet, just scanned and here they are.
Holy lens flare

The old timey quality with modern cars does not compute

Yeah it’s weird to look at

Yeah the modern cars (and flatscreen TV) are jarring. Cool pictures, though.

You’re not kidding about its online absence. On DuckDuckGo you’re already half of the hits!
Here’s one for anyone interested .

Very nice pics. It’s funny reading this, just the other day while at Walgreens I suddenly had the urge to dust off my Nikon F which has been on the shelf since around 2003.
I remember when Walgreens had huge photo sections, and now they have a tiny stock of Kodak 200 and 400 three packs (at $18 seemed expensive too).

The aesthetic tag was a joke, though I imagine these would do well if I got them some attention on tumblr or something else like that haha

LMAO; I didn’t even see your tag, I just saw the photos and that was my first reaction.

Original reply was kinja’d. Picked up the 400 because I like grain.
I’m visiting my wife’s family and wanted to try to get some nice pics of my 15 month son with his cousins and grandmother who is just out of cancer treatment.
Took it to the pool today so we’ll see if I got anything good.

Also as I side note my father in law had a manual Raider in the late 90’s when I was dating my wife. I did get a ride in it once but never drove it; probably wouldn’t have appreciated it at the time anyway.
