I do know they make some nice LED ones, that don’t require ballasts.

I hate HIDs with a passion. They have color shift, and have a tendency to disoreint me at night. Fuck them.

Go with LED, or better light assemblies.

The problem is when people put HIDs in reflector housings and not projectors. Or the dipshits that tub the 10k purple/pink bulbs.

The problem is almost all modern vehicles have HIDs or LEDs from the factory. They glare like crazy and blind oncoming traffic.

The NA uses sealed beam headlights, you can get HID projector housings that focus the light properly in the standard size that will fit.  Just make sure you focus them properly and aim them properly using a garage door and tape to mark out the light pattern.
