This van drove
beautifully
, and it frankly hauled ass. I drove it on bumpy fire roads and on the highway. The van wasn’t heavily loaded, but anyone could jump in and drive it comfortably, though size is everything when it comes to hitting gas station bollards and low hanging limbs and such.

Hey, that guy looks familiar.

Ooo, Sprinter! I’d heard they can be unreliable though, is that true? (At least the older ones?)

I’ve seen him in the mirror a few times.

No idea. Tricking them out as campers has become a thing though. This one leads a fairly tough life with lots of fire roads and it has loose things banging around in the front suspension.

Woah, that one still has doors without holes. I can't tell you the last time I saw a Sprinter without rust holes.

I'd love to drive one for a shift and see how it compares with the ProMaster I drive every day. So far I have no complaints, but it only has 29k miles.

Yeah, I can hear loose things banging around in the front suspension of my Accent (compared to mom and bro’s cars which are also the same generation Accent) but two different shops have told me the suspension is fine. I am 100% there is a bushing gone somewhere or a ball joint or something!!! Wish I could catch it on a video...

too bad it’s made out of compressed rust.

They're ok but I prefer super single wheels over dually wheels when off road...the dually wheels pick up rocks.

ProMaster: never heard of one

Strut mount, perhaps? First thing I'd check.

In the U.K. these aren’t as common as the raised version of the Iveco Daily dually, and the 4x4 version.

It doesn’t happen over every bump, but I notice it more at slower speeds over sortof washboard-y bumps.
