I forget just how small this car is until I park it in areas like downtown at the courthouse (transferred it officially into my name today).
Also, it’s doggo approved.
I took a nighttime view last night as I unloaded our groceries.
That old school Pontiac orange, though.
I have a to-do list and a cart on RockAuto.
Full detail
Windshield repair
Tint
Oil change
Tune-up
New cassette player
New radio (amplifier) or new speakers
New front struts
Oppo-radio people: I’m not sure if it’s the fault of the OEM Delco speakers or the factory headunit has a bad amp. I have the stereo at full volume and it’s still not very loud. I can’t hear it at all with the windows down. I’m not sure whether I should replace the radio itself or try putting in new speakers.
I want to keep the factory headunit and tape player for as much of an OEM look as possible. But a rebuilt tape player on eBay is $35 and a rebuilt headunit is $75. What?

May be worth pulling the radio and making sure it’s wired up right. Sometimes people will put a stock head unit back into a car to sell it, and just hack it back in (that’s why my rx7's radio sounded so terrible when I got it)

Up 90s midsize is modern Sub compact. That thing is smaller than a Prius, even a last gen one.

It’s not small, it’s the perfect size. Your pup is rocking a thousand yard stare, by the way.

And 20 years ago, that was a perfectly average sized car. Part of it is most people drive trucks now, so cars in general look small.

I parked my Acclaim in a Compact Parking space this weekend. I felt bad at first, then I realized it’s smaller than most compacts these days.
Your radio issue is very likely the head unit. Had the same issue in our 1990 Century. Swapped to an aftermarket unit, problem solved.
Keep the 90s alive!
