That’s a 12 year old car worth $2 5-$ 35k with a 4 cylinder Toyota motor , it gets way more attention than its stats suggest it should.

I have a buddy who bought one and he gets embarrassed driving it because of all the attention (he says every other trip in it results in a conversation).

Yeah, I notice them too. Expensive cars are all over (and I notice them because they’re usually unusually low compared to nearby cars),  but a Lotus is almost more notable because you know they went out of their way to get one.
