They still sell the 300C SRT8 for export markets, just not here :(

Yea I saw that. I guess they do good down under too because of their penchant for big ass cars with V8's and rwd. They hold their value too.

Hah! I literally just posted a 300S rental review. This is a stylish highway cruiser but would be interested in trying the bruiser version

I can forget. Pretty forgettable cars. I had forgotten before you brought this up. Wait... what was I talking about...?!!!

I’m surprised FCA doesn’t sell the SRT version in the US. I think the current-gen 300 looks handsome in a world full of ugly crossovers and oversized fake grills.

...Holy crap you can get 300S with a 363hp 5.7L V8 for less than 40 k$!? Hell, that’s semi-appealing!

Damnit, it only has a 1,000 lbs towing capacity.  Still nice.

I liked the first gen look of the 300 SRT with the 6.1. Something about the front end really appealed to me.

Cant forget the originals from the 50s. They were very fast for their day.

I would love an SRT8. But they have a death grip on their values. Ive never seen any under 25 grand.

I wish they still did sell the SRT version . Chrysler could use it. But Ive said it before and I’ll keep saying it, the 300 is probably one of the best and underrated lux/near lux buys on the market. You have to spend way more to get a vehicle of its size with V8 power. Even if you go to Genesis, a G80 in either standard or Sport trim will set you back damn near 60 grand.

Why did they ever stop selling those? I figured the SRT8 would probably be a very popular option.

I honesty didn't know they quit selling the SRT until just now...

I think it was to give Dodge all the performance attention. But then if that’s the case, that calls in to question the Grand Cherokee SRT8 and Trackhawk.

I guess that was a quiet bow-out... and likely it was due to just making more sense for sport sedan buyers to be consolidated to Dodge Charger and Challenger for car-based SRT performance.

For what 300 is good at (I have one in my driveway, belonging to a family member that resides with me and my spouse), a 300S is probably enough for mainstream, and 300S with a 5.7 Hemi is pretty darn good.

Someone really wanting to go to the track and lay down quarter miles... is really going to look at 392 SRT/Scat Pack/Hellcat/Redeye/widebody/ Demon/Keymaster Vinz Clortho/Gatekeeper Zuul/Gozor the Destructor special  editions.

A 300S V8 is pretty damn good. And I’ll keep saying it: you have to spend way more to get rwd and a V8 in a car of this size. Im glad its still around.
