Ott Tänak won the rally , with Mads Østberg finishing second just a couple of seconds ahead of home favourite Jari-Matti Latvala. The result from Østberg was quite surprising considering that it was only his fourth rally in the C3 and that Citroën had tested a lot less than Toyota before this event.
