Ugh. We just lost two Virtual Manufacturing people to competitors. Anybody looking to start a career in ergonomic CAD? Get your foot in the door, get trained, get good, then get poached off by someone else for more money?

Today my boss is being Bitchy McTwatface. I would love to go tell him to go get rear ended while driving a Pinto. I’d love a new job right now but I think this is one of the time when I should just complain to the internet and not talk to him .

Is this a telecommuting position?

Probably not; we’re in the Detroit area and have one person in Connecticut - it’s not working the best in that case.

If your people are getting poached they are under market. Tell the hiring manger to start making attractive offers to keep people.

Bullseye .
We hire agency people through a contract house (because management is short-sighted ) , so it’s very easy to snipe them off with a permanent position . I think our senior person has 2 years here.
They are good at training people though. One lady (that just left) was a teacher before starting here. She was probably our best simulator . Another guy here has a liberal arts background.
