The C46 went *over* the hump all the time, but doesn’t have a hump. More of a roid body.

we had a cloudburst late last night/early this morning. my lab at work is in on the ground floor (“ground” meaning below ground.) I come in to find water everywhere, including shit water from sewer backups.

It’s owned by Las Vegas Sands casino. They used to own 2, along with various other passenger airliners, but it looks like they only have the one SP now. No word if they are flying casinos, or just used to bring guest and execs to and from Las Vegas. But yes, it’s beautiful.

It’s a beauty, to be sure. I also like the antennas trailing off the wingtips. It looks so futuristic, similar to the antenna spike on the tail of the 707. Kind of hard to see in this picture.

Fun fact: in the mid/late eighties, Air France used to advertise their 747-300 as the “BIG BOSS” version. “ Boss ” , in English , sounds m o r e o r l e s s the same as bosse (hump) in French.
