Hey we have a Dragon Agenda (see below) some things that I should say, first off we had a special guest lined up, who had to back out. So we only get ourselves.
There is a slack channel “opposlack” that I will use to communicate on site and leading up to it.
There is also no longer a charge to attend, as this was gonna cove our special guest expenses, so the goodie bags are gonna be a little light, (stickers) there will be trophy’s for the car show, (I can’t promise they’ll be good ones).
Beer in mind this is a dry county so if you want to buy beer, or alcohol after your all done for the day driving, you’d have to bring it in or drink at the hotel

Friday
Arrive and settle in, do stuff with your loved ones! Perhaps Dinner and drinks I will probably be in late so may be unable to anything, I’ll update if I come in earlier(I’ll be in earlier, perhaps a dinner get together)
Saturday
8:30am Run on
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
We’ll do Breakfast at along the way Dragon Dens Grill.
Midday “parade run”. We’ll be stopping and taking photos
1pm Lunch depends on where we are in the dragon. If your in the “parade” we’ll have thought, if you’re not in the group around 1pm, look out on slack channel I’ll post lunch spot there.
4pm Parking lot auto show and photos at the resort
7pm Dinner and drinks at Fontana village resort restaurant.
Sunday
8:30am dragon run, followed by Breakfast

If only I wasn’t super busy the two weekends before that. I’m really going to need a recovery weekend.

Let me know if you end up being able to sell any of those dragon oppo stickers in white. It’d look bitchin on the back window of my truck.

I don’t think the Dragon run really makes sense for me, and I can’t really dedicate the whole weekend. What are the rules on showing up on Saturday for car show/meet & greet and buggering off again?

I’ve got my tires , I’m ready to go.
My suggestion for breakfast on Saturday is the res taurant at the Deal’s Gap Motorcycle Resort . I remember the food there being decent, and t hat way folks like myself can go for early runs and then stop for breakfast, and we can gather as people are inclined. And in the meantime, can watch people launch up the hill.
After breakfast I am inclined to drive the Cherohala Skyway but I would strive to be back for the “parade” run on the Tail and photos so timing is everything . Anyone who wants to join me is welcome.

Cherohala is a great balance between cruising and twisty wild stuff. Its fun for everyone pretty much. Unless you get stuck behind a group of harleys just puttering along, then it sucks lol. Go run the hill climb nearby there if you get a chance, that one has a nice little trail at the top with a sweet overlook about a quarter mile walk away.

Robbinsville has a pretty good diner (along with gas stations and other town things). I recall eating there for breakfast multiple times. It’s called The Hub and it looks like a 50's gas station in front.
Enjoy! And hopefully you dont get rained on and the weather is good. Although I’ve been there in heavy rain and it was kinda fun. At least it made the motorcycles go away haha.

Sorta confusing for me at first but I hope I’m reading this right. Anyway, I’ll be there with the Miata as I’ve said before! I need to sort out a clogged water drain tube or else I’m going up there with the hardtop on!

Damn, I keep missing Oppo meets/events. I just ordered something for the Mini, I’ll install it next weekend and go to the tail on the Labor day weekend.
