I watched this just yesterday. The dude did the equivalent of an LS swap on his plane. It went from ~225 hp to over 6 50 hp. Then he added fuel tanks to the struts and a new avionics package. And big-ass tires (bro!). Oh, and there’s a lift kit on there to make room for the tires. Can’t forget the lights too. Every bro plane needs a good set of lights. He’s a bro in a plane with a cowboy hat.
I’m jealous.

I was admiring this thing on Thursday-Friday. It’s a Wilg a, isn’t it?
Cool airplane but it was parked way down on the South 40.

Aha - I had forgotten that the Wilga was a piston airplane. The turbine conversion and the big tires are why this thing stands so tall.
Very cool airplane (as is the Wilga it came from).

I think the amount changed to call this guy a bro is a discredit. this is some guy turning his f150 into a full trophy truck conversion. enthusia st to the extreme.
