As a 12-year electric mower user, I know this feeling. At least with a fence, your gas mower neighbors can’t laugh at you.

My yard o nly has about 500 sq/ ft of grass in the front, and 500 sq ft in the back ( It’s mostly trees and pinestraw) . Technically I wouldn’t have to cut them on the same day, you think I could use an elec tric mower?

The heat definitely has been a killer. But we get days of rain at a time so it seems to be happy. Makes me think about moving to Arizona and just having one of those lava rock yards.

Well, I think I’ve figured what the issue is...you’re using a 40 Volt GreenWorks mower, when for something like that, you should be using something a bit more powerful, like an EGO Power+ 56 Volt, or an 80 Volt. Kobalt and GreenWorks make those.

Nah, I currently push mow it with a honda gas mower . I can do the front and back in about 15 mins. 1,000 sq ft combined is tiny. It’s like 2.5 times the size of a typical 2- car garage.

Yeahh it's not particularly great. I have their trimmer and blower which are okay. These were just a starter since I'd first bought the house and needed something to tame the lawn
