I know the track is good for them, and wet weather even more so, but day-um that’s a big step up for Torro Rosso. 6th and 8th, with Gastly ahead of Verstappen.

Yeah, I was more surprised Red Bull qualified so poorly than Toro Rosso qualifying well. I’ve been high on Gasly for awhile now...I think he’s the real deal and that his 4th at Bahrain was a sign of things to come. His lower formula resume is pretty impressive. Some of his poorer finishes in F1 this year have just been down to bad luck (France for sure , arguably Germany)

Though he’s not a patch on Hartley for bad luck. Hartley’s well on his way to taking Chris Amo n’s title of unluckiest F1 driver ever. Poor guy just can’t get a break.
