Paging Long Voyager. If you win the lotto I have one for your collection. Seriously though garage kept and driven less than 1000 miles a year.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

How can anything this normal and utilitarian be this clean and rust free in Detroit????

My grandparents used to buy these, so I bet it was just some elderly person who rarely drove it, then stopped driving altogether.

That’s my bet too. My Dad flipped cars for a living, mainly Chrysler products so I’ve been around them my whole life. I tried to figure out how many Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth mini vans we owned through the years and best guess is over 100.

3.0 4-speed is an odd combo in the Sport Wagon, most were 3.3L 4-speeds.

I’ll wait til they drop it $2k, then maybe I’ll be interested, but even then, I’d rather it was a proper Sport Wagon with the 3.3L.

Too expensive, wrong engine (IMO).

Knock $2k off and I’d think about it. Even then, I’d likely swap in the 3.3L/4-speed that the Sport Wagon should have.

Didn’t know that. But I figured it was either top dolla r or over priced. Just can’t remember the last time I saw one in such nice condition. Maybe when I was in middle school.

I love the 3.0, but it was under powered for the vans. The 3.3L seems a perfect combo in them.

The price of this era van has been creeping up in the last couple years, so honestly, I don’t think they’re that far off, they’re just about $2k higher than I’d pay.

Yeah it’s the same old story. People buy their memories and when those are cars that were nothing to lust over at the time, cheap, used up, and thrown away the values start going up. I mean if I found a clean one cheap I might pick it up for just for nostalgia.

These eat transmissions too, no doubt.

Depends how it was taken care of. 22k, it’s almost due for fluid/filter, so keep up on maintaining it, it should be fine.

Try to run it 100k without changing fluid/filter, you’ll kill it.

Honestly, the majority of Chrysler “transmission issues” come down to shear lack of maintenance. Fluid/filter should be changed every 15-30k depending on conditions, yet NO ONE actually does, then they complain when they blow a transmission at 120k.

My dad bought one of these (for cheap with hail damage)  when I was in college for some reason. It was the 3.3 and I remember it being decently quick.
