I was supposed to have a Rogue Sport but it was in a fender bender . This will definitely work though. It somehow has 3 rows too...

Wait, what? Tiguan has 3 rows?
If you put a Tiguan, Touareg, and Atlas in a field each 200 feet apart, could you tell the difference?
I haven’t seen a Touareg in the new style yet, I’m assuming they’re not really around yet.

I’m pretty sure they all just scaled up or down. And yes. I bought some golf clubs for my wife and when I went to put them in the back there was a 3rd row and I audibly gasped.

They are frikkin’ massive - they can’t be much different in size than an Atlas.

I always thought the first gen was a good idea but this is RX sized. WITH A 3RD ROW.

I mean, I make fun of tiny seats, but then I have little kids who could probably sit back there no problem, and allow adults to sit in the back. But then I struggle to think of a circumstance where we would take 4 adults and two kids but NO STUFF anywhere, and where we would be unable to just take two cars. But it’s an option, I guess? Or, maybe if we had 3-4 kids? I’d just get a damn minivan if that were the case.

Yeah I had to fold down the seats to put the golf clubs in there.... Definitely a dinner with a million people coming at most.

The Discovery Sport also has an available third row, which boggles my mind.

Yeah they are monstrous compared to the 1st gen. I can’t figure out the marketing logic of Atlas and Tiguan - why not just build one?

Congrats!

I don’t understand why everyone is like ///OMG3ROWS SO TINY///
Row one is adults
Row two is kids
Row three is dog
Back is cargo
Rearrange dog/cargo as appropriate based on applicable size.

The problem I’m having is its either cargo or 3rd row. Not either. And this thing should have stayed small.

Thanks! I have a list going for when I come back from the DR too. Avalon, GS300, Camry XSE, RC350 F Sport, Prius 4, then Kia Stinger.

I guess? I suppose I just don’t see the minus side to having a third row that collapses totally flat. There when you need it, hidden away when you don’t. The RX has a third row now, too, so there’s definitely a market for it, especially when car seats are involved.

This is supposed to be the small SUV though. Aslo, those 3rd row seats take up a lot of floor space.

Our problem is that we have four kids, so we need cargo and the third row. There aren’t too many moderately sized SUVs that can meet those requirements.

Geometry is a bitch, huh? Though the Ascent looks pretty nice.
