Pro Tip: don’t eat other homesteaders , no matter how deep the snow.

I ate hot dogs instead. So much easier.

Sweet! Amazing to me how many pioneers made the journey with hand carts... If you ever get out this way, the newly expanded museum at the St. Louis Arch is really well-done. We were just there the weekend before last.

What I posted was something that came up in a search for “1978 Pioneer”, but by mostly coincidence is nearly the exact turntable that my folks have at their house.

Those are awesome Utah bits. It’s supposed to be 108* today in the South end of the state and I’m packing for a move. I would much rather be near waterfalls and lakes.

There’s an artist on display at the Church History Museum that Missus and I went out of our way to pass through SLC to see. And we wound up being there on Pioneer Day and the museum was closed. Seems to me that this would be one day that they’d particularly want the CHM
open
, but they did not consult with me.
