There was a reason why I had to get them today, but I don’t want to go into that reason on the internet.

Probably unrelated but all of the foreigners here are having a cold sweat because their cars will be forced to pay taxes now. (they changed the law on the tourist plates) In Spain luxury cars pay around 40% tax (including municipal taxes) Now instead of having red license plates, they’ll have blue ones.

Not as bad as GA, although the tax is every year.

I was driving back from lunch sitting at a stop light and I saw a light flashing on my dash. Freaked out for a second and then I realized that it was my blinker.

You committed two separate, heinous crimes. One in each bimmer. You needed to change the plates quickly. Stop committing heinous crimes!

Used cars pay even more, they calculate the value using a very weird formula that makes little sense. My grandmother “nationalized” her car when she moved here. It was valued at 8,000 Euros but she had to pay 6,000 euros.
But I mean, she has free healthcare so, it adds up I guess.

But how will people know you have an E90M3 if your plates don’t say “ E90 M3"?

I pay way less than that for my healthcare.

I’m not sure. Probably going to rectify that soon.

It’s a one time tax.... on a heavy Diesel SUV.

Hopefully it’s not too much $$ in SC
