and it bites you:
I’m working on a roll bar mount so that I can actually see what’s happening outside the car instead of dash.
Yesterday’s post with my fastest clean run:

I think I see the problem. Your elbows are at full lock when your steering is more than a few degrees. Move your seat up!

If you haven’t spun it, you aren’t pushing hard enough. Gotta spin once in a while to make sure you are really at the edge.

I managed to hit 3 cones at the race track on Sunday, here’s the two I hit with the rear end.
(skip to 14:53 if the start at didn’t work)

I spin plenty anymore.
I spun twice two events ago.

That’s a good point! I don’t think it’s quite as the wide angle makes it look but I’ll try that.
This is good Oppo!

Looks more like you’re about to hit them with t he front end. And since when did we start calling race officials “cones”?

Those aren’t cones? That explains why my front bumper cover is cracked and all my wheel well liners are missing.
Maybe I should try harder to avoid them in the future...

I autocrossed my Miata for the first time yesterday. First run I had the fastest section leading into a downhill off camber hairpin nailed pretty well (about the only thing right on that first run). So of course I got greedy, gave it way too much coming out, and spun. A good time had by all.
