Here’s how smoothly it’s running now that I’ve got some miles on the new lifters. Still a tiny tick, and the odd stumble, but so much better than before.
Not my video, but this is almost exactly how it sounded before.

an Astron engine which doesn’t stumble is one which doesn’t run at all. that Mikuni carb was an incredible piece of shit.

Haha so I’ve heard. I’ve been planning on replacing it with a Weber 38 for a little while now, just haven’t been willing to cough up the $400 or so for it.
