It did get hot in there pretty quick but I was able to coast to The shoulder in time. My legs feel a little sunburned but nothing too bad

My large extinguisher beat the fire down for 5 minutes until it picked up again(when the pics were taken) and the fire crew showed up. I believe it kept the fire contained to the engine bay(combined with fire dept timung)

No worries.
I t was a worthwhile investment of $70. Also glad I had placed it close to the door opening. Id recommend the larger size, because they go really quick, I can't imagine a little one helping as much as the one I had did

Fuel leak sparked in the distributor which quickly led to flames everywhere. The parts, mainly the manual swap will live on in another SC, or I may keep this chassis alive so I don’t need to smog another car. Insurance won’t give a damn because it’s minimum coverage. I didn’t want the annual insurance cost be the same as the cars value.
