This new Jimny. I mean just look at it. It’s perfection.

I’m really sad that small vehicles that put the Sport in SUV we just short fad here in the US. The Samuri, Tracker, And Raider, even the X90. And the early Sportage 2 door are all so much fun and make me smile every time I see one.

I forgot the 2 door RAV4. It’d take one of those ina heartbeat.

They look so ri diculously top- heavy it’s hilarious. I’m sure they’re not, but those perf ectly vertical roof pillars and no fender flares make it look like it’s read to tip at a moments notice.

I wouldn’t even be sad about the lack of the Jimny if there was one...ONE small SUV with low range.

If they could smash the AAM Ecotrac Lock drivetrain into the renegade, I would perfectly happy.

I like the non-flared ones as well , to be clear, but those flares add such a huge visual difference.

I saw A LOT of newer Jimnys at the rental lots in Iceland.  I also saw A LOT of them with roll over damage in the collision lot next door.

I’ve read they build these in 2 different widths, the most narrow one to meet the Japanese Kei standard and the wider one for everyone else. ‘Wide’ being somewhat relative here, obviously.

Well at least you guys can import them after only 15 years instead, which is a lot more reasonable. It’s rare that I would ever look at a car that is less than 10 years old, so 15 is pretty normal anyways. 25 is when it starts getting ancient and unfair.
