I had one simple task today with the truck, take the window frame apart and put new rubber around the window, and I couldn’t get one of the screws out.... It looks like it’s been in there since the 60's so we may have to use an easy out and replace the screw. It was approaching 85 degrees out there so I guess we can wait... It looks to be original glass, very thick, says Safe T lite or something in old script on it. So because these trucks can go topless the glass is in a frame that rolls down into the door, there is no outer door frame. With the hard top it just bumps up against the rain gutter to close.

That is actually an incredibly cool design. All the benefits of a framed window, without having to see it when you don't want to.

It’s a pretty tiny screw, there are two per corner. We gave it a good tap but it’s really stuck. My friend owns the shop, they tried all the toys but he thinks we will probably have to use the easy out or drill it.

Yeah you can see in this pic that the top metal edge is flush with the door metal when it’s down.
