This is the first new Commodore I’ve seen in person — after several months of being out and with dealers are pushing significant discounts to try to shift them . It’s not going well.
They should have retired the name along with the Falcon.
Bonus Rolls. This is the disparity you see between cars in areas like this, p opulated by old people.

I think Aussies feel cheated by the new Commondore.

I thought they killed Holden? These leftovers, or did someone else pick up production?

They killed the factory and bespoke models but kept the name for GM imports. If I’m not mistaken.

Ah, that makes sense. I only half paid attention since they refused to mail us any of them.

Looks like the BMW acquisition of Rolls started quite a while back.

“ YOU’RE NOT OUR REAL DAD, WHERE’S VF?”
-Aussies.

There’s no market for it anymore .
The large portion of it s old buyers who valued RWD, displacement and local production won’t touch it. I don’t blame them. It’s not a particularly good car , especially with everything coming out of Korea right now ;)
The rest have bought an SUV.

Yeah, domestic Commodore production ending was the only change. The rest of the range is still the same GM crap.

The classic rolls demonstrating it’s dominance over commoner filth.

In his defence, this was in the far back corner and the owner was about as old as the earth. He had just finished loading his walker into the boot. T his centre doesn’t have good disabled spots.

What a plain looking car, it has no styling

Oh that’s a Buick Regal .

They’re importing now. That car is an Insignia elsewhere.

Silver Spirit? Probably worth less than the Insignia.

Yeah.... Who would have thought they wouldn’t be able to sell an Opel/Buick as a Commodore... Does Not help in is an ugly vehicle.

See, on first glance, I would have looked at the parking job and thought, "I guess even a Volvo 240 gets driven by a douchebag once in a while, too." You'd think a prestige nameplate wouldn't have such a derivative tail.

I’ve seen some. But not half as many as I should have. It's a shame the Australian car will end with such a pathetic footnote
