I came on when people would post car stuff and I was like “Cool! People that also care about cars!” But it seems like it’s starting to get way too political and I’m not about that life. I like car stuff, not politics

It’s gotten way too fucking political here. Mainly a few members. If I had it my way, I would ban them all.

For the most part I do too, I try to ignore all posts from a certain set of people. It just gets annoying to see it every fucking day. Whenever oppo gets more political I feel like less people visit, so we get less content, so the political posts are a higher percentage of the content.

I get what you’re saying. I haven’t really noticed less posting lately from less people or anything , at least in my eyes. Then again, if so, it IS summer now, so it’s possible some peeps are off on vacations and trips and the like.

Oppo does seem to get slower in the summer. I have noticed that because I haven’t been busy this summer.

Same, I am currently looking for a part time job for the summer to supplement my teaching as schools are, of course, closed. I’ve been on here a little more than usual lately...it’s not really that slack, but I’ve noticed a few less posts as well.

Isnt that what The Cigar is for? I mean, dont get me wrong here, Im glad Im part of community where we help each other out, in pretty much every way possible, but lately, this feels more like Dr.Phil’s blog instead of Oppo.

Ive been scaling down my activity on here for pretty much the same reasons youre thinking of.
