Yeah, that looks like the pretty part. We drove south from Denver through Pueblo and into NM. The are around Pueblo was some of the least attractive places I’ve ever driven through. Also, the part where you are isn’t on fire. Yet.

Born and raised in Colorado, moved to Phoenix after 40 years in Colorado.  I really miss the Rocky Mountains, especially the Western Slope, but Denver is lame and I hate being cold.  Like really, really hate being cold.  And now that Colorado is filling up with potheads and trustafarians, I’, good here.  Five hours from the beach, never ever cold, and surrounded by perfectly preserved, rust-free vehicles from every era...

I live right near the front range, and the view never gets old. This place is just stunning.
