It’s getting to a point where manufacturers will have to increase on the limited numbers they produce, to guarantee some will make it in life.

When I bought my Z back in ‘09 the sales guy
told me the story of a customer who had recently ordered a brand new GT-R for his son as a surprise. He didn’t bother to learn much, if anything, about the car during the sales process or before picking it up with the exception of figuring out how to turn all the nanny systems off. So he goes to the dealership, takes delivery, disables everything meant to keep unqualified drivers safe, leaves. Well, it started raining. Within a few hours, the dealership gets a call from said customer. He somehow managed to total the GT-R before coming close to getting it home for his son.
