I had a rather frustrating unsecured load fee a while back. Packed the truck bed full of juniper bits below the bed sides and they weren’t shifting anywhere or coming apart (getting them out with a pitchfork was suffering that took an hour ). The route to the transfer station didn’t exceed 30mph anywhere . I’d never seen such a fee...

Around here the cops just camp out in a big crew, on the main road going to the dump. They sit most of the day issuing tickets for unsecured loads and Fix-It tickets for people beater truck and trailers.
