Deceive them
M isrepresent yourself
Highjack an activity portrayed in good faith.
Disconcert them with psychological tricks, red herrings and straw man arguments.
Steer them into comments easily t aken out of context.
Use deceptive tactics to portray them as worse than they are.
Treat them with disgust or ridicule, and call it humor.
Use the ridicule to further a narrative of discredit and derision as an ad-hominem attack.
Now, you tell me who is the bully, who is intolerant of other people’s views, and who is the one not following the rules of civilized behavior, worthy of disgust and disregard.
If anyone were to do this TO the like of Sacha Baron Cohen, or anyone who aligns politically or culturally left... it would be the height of despicable behavior, and vilified, and most on the political or cultural right would not embrace it either.
But it is standard behavior of the political and cultural left, against the people they disagree with, with little to no repurcussion .
Does that seem correct to you? does that seem like a way that you would want to be treated, if you think it is acceptable and funny to treat people you disagree with that way.
