oh yeah... friday the 13th.. that explains a lot.. started work at 6 am today didnt actually get to do any work till 12... 1st machine i started on tore itself apart and will be out of commission for a good while (previous shift just pulled the plug on it but failed to mention thats coz an airhose sprung a leak and was in the middle of wrecking the thing... so i just plugged it back in.... it went well...)

2nd machine it turned out the mold wasnt right for the product (previous shifts had been using it tho.. made the welds wonky.. so thats an imediate all work on hold till further notice and a truckload of burners being recalled for quality checks... fun fun)

3rd machine would only weld sometimes... was annoying

last hour of work went off without a hitch... for me anyway.. we had 8 machine failures today.... that never happens...lol

on my way home my front tire gave up n popped.. noticed something took a chunk out of the sidewall before trying to ride it home... was a bigger problem than i gave it credit for apparently

but no biggie... i got a spare tire n tube in the kitchen

home now..... having a beer

I guess somebody had to be, but that sucks. The last airman killed in WWII, a photographer, died a day after the Japanese announced their surrender  when his B-32 Dominator was attacked by a Japanese pilot who didn’t feel like giving up. As a result, the propellers were removed from all Japanese aircraft.
