I just found out how much my insurance payout was for my car. Can you guess how much it was? Price is Right rules apply. Whoever comes closest without going over is the winner of 100 internets, and if the winning guess is within $250 I guess you win both showcases.

It was a 2013 Optima LX non-turbo and automatic with only one option as far as I know, which was fog lights. 67k miles.

I’m gonna be working for the next few hours so I won’t be back with the answer till then.

EDIT: Tsuter wins, the total payoff was $9476.16. Now to file the gap claim.

Yes and no. No because it goes toward paying off the loan and I still owed more than it was worth (long story, but thank God for gap insurance). Yes because now we'll be able to start socking some $$ away to take a vacation next year.

I like the way you think. I think we’d have a good time there (he’s a bear too) .

Plus, if it’s next year I’d have time to work on losing some weight and getting in a bit of shape. He's already dropped a fair amount and we've been talking about going to a gym soon.
