Working in recruiting, I spend a lot of time on Linkedin. Yes it is useful for stuff blah blah blah. But sometimes you scroll through the business-y memes and entrepreneurial inspirational quotes and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! beard smiling at you.

Most the photos I see on LinkedIn are bad selfies, vacation photos, and photos from the last wedding they were in, with boutineer.

This is one of my contacts, she reached out to me after she retired.  She’s sleeping on the couch with her dog.   Love the photo.

It’s a great photo, but the needs to visit the barber and freshen the cut and groom the beard more neatly, IMHO. Beards are risky that way.

I have a very business LinkedIn photo.  My wife literally took 50+ photos of me, and we picked the best one.  I don’t believe I could recreate the look today. I must therefore keep it forever.

I’m pretty sure I don’t even have a close up photo of myself other than my wedding pictures. Besides those, probably a few long distance shots from ski trips or other shenanigans, or maybe the odd selfie that the Finnlet took a few years ago . Not sure how good a selfie taken by and with a two year old would be on a LinkedIn profile.

The mirror selfie with flash though... that’s just bad.
