You can keep it factory or mod it  to expedition levels. Which one do you choose.

Kinja'd!!!

FZJ105 - 5 speed manual. No lockers. Cloth seats.

Kinja'd!!!

Left - URJ200 USA spec, fully loaded. Right - FJZ80 40th. Leather. Auto. Lockers.

Kinja'd!!!

The differences in dimension was a little surprising to me. Very close dimensionally.

Kinja'd!!!

VDJ76 - auto. Cloth seats. V8 turbo diesel. Lockers.

Kinja'd!!!

VDJ78. 5 speed. V8 turbo diesel. Lockers. 2 cloth seats.

I think you can turn those beeps and boops off but you’ll have to find the button.

VDJ76.  I like having the couple of extra seats...outside of maybe some additional brush bars for the sides, I think we’re good as-is...

Probably would have to go with the FJZ80.  Likely the best all-in-one.  I was tempted by the VDJ78, but I figured the AC in that would suck.  Also two doors seems like it’d be hard to live with long term.

This is a good game, better than the ExPo list you posted about.

Anyway...

I play sort of this game all the time. I recently, after a bit of wrangling with my insurer, got them to put the value of the 105 up by $10k, to $25k . Or about $4k above what I paid for it 5 years ago - the replacement value for the mods at the time was $10k, hence my argument. I’ll get them to $30k with the lockers and once I get the paint fixed.

So, imagine the thing burns to the ground (heaven forbid), what do I replace it with? You can get all over the above with around a $30k budget here...

I genuinely think I would have another Bitsa, or a really nice 80.
