I like things that look like giant insects with a case of Kardashiass. I will not apologize for that.
The greater the bulge in the center of the trunk, the more seamless the line of roof into trunk lid, the longer the trunk, the better.
In point of fact, the ‘58 Cadillac Extended Deck models are seriously flawed.
They should have a continuous roof-to-tail curve. More like the ‘48 fastback.

Watched Heat this weekend, love that movie. Also guy who owns a Kobota dealership near me parks his baby blue Hudson Hornet there on the weekends.

I considered putting that on the list, but it’s a little angular. Bon

The only way I’d ever get an RV is if it looked like this
Also, in my search for this image I came across this! What the hell is this beautiful monstrosity?

That’s a ‘38 Ford COE pulling what appears to be an Airstream (!) fifth-wheel. Was not aware that was a thing, may not be.

I’m also guessing this doesn’t make your list for acceptable RVs:

I think about this one a lot.

Bigly.
![]() 07/10/2018 at 12:56 |

As well you should.
It’s one of the more budget-friendly ones on the list, *and* one of the easiest to keep running, *and* one of the best. Top tier bulbass.

I had to take a moment to add the ‘48 Hudson Commodore, because of reasons.

That COE has to be customized right? The top chopped at least? It looks too small, unless they were that small back then.

There are sane and well-measured ways to deal with the availability of a big-block V8 FWD drivetrain. That’s probably not one of them.

They’re not all that big.
Lowered, slight chop of the roof.

No need to apologise. I'm just surprised you didn't post a picture of a Stout Scarab or the Buckminster Dymaxion.
![]() 07/10/2018 at 13:59 |

The Dymaxion gets a little beyond car-like in a way. The Scarab is a huge oversight, though, I’ll admit.

Gimme dat Caddy and burn the rest.

“Burn Packard” - party-vi. “Burn Chrysler Norseman” - also party-vi.
I bet you’d burn the Henry J too, despite looking so much like a midget wrestler version of the Caddy.

I was thinking that the Henry J was probably the most attainable as a mad project car, but it and the Willys have had their stocks so depleted by gasser fiends that apparently the ‘49 Nash is about the cheapest one on the list*:

*I have seen a more or less complete Marlin for ~$3500... once.

As Pat Bateman put it, something he could really get behind.
