So I can’t view, upload, or download all of the submittals I’m trying to finish. (or listen to Spotify or Stitcher)

Here’s one of a pair of (60’s?) Cadillac hubcaps I pulled out of my grandpa’s garage while I was there this weekend. As much as I hate car parts as home decor these are pretty minimalist in their own way. I’m thinking about building some lamps using them as tops.

I’d personally polish them up, and attach a battery powered LED light strip behind them, and use it as accent lighting.

It’d be cool if you were to mount a directional (or partially covered) LED through the hole to spotlight the Cadillac emblem.

I have a vintage PMD hubcap that I am planning to turn into a clock. I need to get around to doing that soon.
