The only thing I don’t like about my FoST- the shift knob looks and feels cheap. I couldn’t replace the one on the mini, due to BMW proprietary shenanigans.

Now, with this having a reverse lockout this will require an adapter. Whether or not that adapter looks like ass is out of my control. However, I want to put on something really classy. Wood maybe? the size leads me to require something on the small side.

But I’m sure you oppos are much more into customizing than me. This is the only part I’m looking to change, so cut me some slack. Anybody know something good out there?

The GT350 knob swaps in and is cheap. But, I’ve found that shift knobs can literally ruin the shifting feel. Anything lighter than stock is horrible in these.

The only acceptable aftermarket shift knob is an 8 ball. Sorry.

Following responses. I am looking to fix and replace my shifter. When I shift into 2nd and 4th it hits the drink in my cup holder.

I don’t think the stock one is heavy at all. the wooden ones should be sufficient though.

These are.... kinda expensive. especially for not being made of wood.

oh. Sorry, I must have glossed over the wood part. I’ve had Raceseng weighted shift knobs in two racecars and now my Abarth. They are completely and utterly sublime to use. I currently have the red texture powdercoated slammer. My buddy with the ‘18 WRX liked it so much, he bought one, too.

I may not have a choice with this one. Can’t find a knob that I like that is stated to be properly weighted. I’ll keep it in mind.
