...does not serve fries during the breakfast hours. That’s like, the main reason to go. They serve all day breakfast, but not all day lunch. I mean, at least give me fries before 11 AM...

There's a single lady that owns pretty much every McDonald's in my area (I used to work for her). Demand for fries for breakfast was so low it wasn't really worth trying. I doubt any northern IL or southern WI McDonald's has lunch for breakfast.

In the U.K. breakfast is served until 10:30, so you can get a breakfast, breakfast wrap, McMuffin breakfast, etc... but no fries, milkshake or burgers.

It's a burger place, you want to serve breakfasts up until 10:30, fine, but at least let me order a ruddy burger any time. I work nights, I don't want a ruddy McMuffin when I finish work, sometimes I want lazy food that briefly fills a hole.

I don’t think any of the McDonald’s here sell fries during breakfast. I do know that some of the ones that serve all-day breakfast don’t sell hash browns all day though, and that seems way weirder to me.

Man, I have a 24H McDonalds near me. One day there was an emergency at work at 2am. There was a recall of critical folks. So I figured since I was close I had time to get breakfast for everyone (and coffee).
I pulled into the McDonalds at around 210am and asked for 8 sausage mcmuffins and 4 coffees.
“I am sorry it is too early for breakfast”
....wut?
I left and haven’t been back.

It’s an idea.

Would probably do well to the east of me in Northumbria or to the south of e in Lancashire, but here in Cumbria, a few places have opened briefly in the past and not lasted.

A Moe's opened up too, and there's Chipotle, but that's gross. We have your standard sit down tex mex places, but I don't want to wear shoes.

Moe’s is life. I went there about once a week when I lived in Florida. I was happy to see that the only one in the entire PNW was just a short drive from me, and it even stayed open for a few months. It’s dead now. :(
