Yesterday I took a day off from going to the hospice. I feel a little guilty, but at the same time I really needed it. I spent the afternoon replacing the l eaking heater core in my dad’s T-Bird. It can now be driven for more than 5 mins. O nce I go thru the brakes I just may be confident enough to leave the neighborhood in it. Mending something is so satisfying.

Don’t feel guilty.  Moms in hospice and I’m camping in Mendocino.   We need breaks.

I know, but it must be so lonely being bedridden and alone in a strange place.

I hear you.   Know that there’s no right way to do this.  I hope you find your peace soon.
