This is where I live. I’m fortunate enough to have the Appalachian Mountains/ Blue Ridge Parkway and it’s amazing drives/climbing/hiking/biking essentially surrounding my home.

These are my new favorite socks. I’ve never been more excited about a pair of socks in my 38 years on this planet.

Here’s a pair of 787B socks to keep it auto related, and because they’re awesome, just not as awesome as my Blue Ridge socks.

I was in Southwest Va for a bit less than a year. Pretty place, but I could never have lived there for longer.

I went to The University of Tennessee and t his helmet design is still the goat. I miss seeing the Smokies in the distance from my dorm room.

Yep, the view of the LeConte massif rising over 5,000’ above the valley can rival the front range of the Rockies. It’s one the only hikes east of the MS where you can do a vertical mile in a (very long)  dayhike.

Neat. I grew up in Norfolk, and graduated from JMU. I really miss those old mountains.
