I hat e black (2 of my cars are black)! No matter how anal i am with washing, throwing away soiled towels, progressive grit polishing, sealing, coating ect. I still cannot escape SUPER fine scratches.

Agree. I’m never buying black again. Of course I said that after my previous black car...

At least my sonic was metallic, so it hid the light scratches well. Also I bought it new and took care of it, so it was in much better shape than my Mustang is.

Funny, i said the same thing after the first black car too....then when searching for the next one the cheapest by a long shot was black. And Lexus has extremely soft paint.

Black does look great clean, thankfully my colleague’s Civic has been a pleasure to look after but she’s on about replacing it and she likes my suggestion of going back to a metallic blue coloured car.
