They are the ones you need if you have a long way to go, but a short time to get there.

What a coincidence! I was looking for someone to drive from here, to Texarkana, Texas, and back in 48 hours with 400 cases of Coors for me and my daddy.

But the back is full of Coors! Who wouldn’t want a nice, refreshing beer after moving a truckload of stuff?

This post reminds of one of my favorite rabbit holes: finding non-traditional ways to get a small racecar to the track in the glory that is enclosed transport while also being able to sleep at the track in something more comfortable than the back of a pickup with a camper shell, and without spending completely outrageous amounts of money, avoiding terribly incapable tow vehicles and hopefully getting more than 5mpg.
Some version of my future involves a used class 4 diesel box truck with a 16-20ft box on the back with either a long-ass set of ramps or a modified lift gate to get a light racecar into the back. That version of the plan is completed with a smallish used (and disposable) travel trailer to sleep in behind it.
