Any recommendations on an interior protector...
...that won’t stick to my damn sunscreen? ?

Ouch, hand moisturiser, sunscreen and natural oils in childrens hands can be a killer for cars from clearcote, to B pillars where people hold to close the door and interior surfaces.
The two on the left are G techniq I2ab, these are all surface interior closers (one has a regular spray head the other has a foaming spray head so I can work it into the undulations on the top card tops and dashboard),
Second from the right is Gtechniq C6, this is an anti bacterial sealant that protects from UV damage and stops the interior getting damaged from oils.
The one on the far right is Gtechniq L1 (there is an anti bacterial one called L1ab), this is for protecting leather surfaces by reducing damage caused by abrasion from getting in and out the vehicle and also prevents dye transfer from jeans, etc...
C6 need only be applied two or three times a year and is simply, spray on a cloth, wipe in, turn cl oth over and remove any residue.
L1 is the same but needs re-applied about three times a year for high wear areas such as front seats, front door cards, etc... if you don’t use the back often, this will be a low wear area and need only be applied once a year.
If the area shows damage presently, vigorously clean with an interior cleaner until gone.
Such like the exterior clearcote, even when it looks like it’s gone from polishing, continue a little longer otherwise it’s pop right back, natural hand oils in children (these greatly reduce as you get older, hence having to use hand moisturisers) and hands lotions can be an arse, so really is best to get on top of it quickly.

Well the exterior is fine, I’m pretty religious about putting sealant, if anything I just put more wax on a day back lol .
Just kinda tired of breaking out the APC every few days on the interior... but thanks to GM's cheapness, it's all hard plastic so I don't think there's any physical damage.

Trust me, those oils can damage even the most robust of plastics, such as the plastics they use on the B pillars, and not just the gloss ones but the textured hard black plastic.
Catch it, clean it and seal it.
If anything the wax or sealants act as sacrificial layers which can be easily stripped and re-applied.
I’ve dealt with it so often over the years I can look around a car, identify all the occupants, age and gender, where they sit, how they prefer to sit or relax in the car, how they open and close a car door, do they have a child or baby in their arm as they usually open one of the doors, etc... it’s a weird and boring game but some drivers are freaked out how I can tell what a car has been doing.

So I guess there’s really no winning when driving a convertible.

I want to second what Svend said. I use those products on my car and it has done a wonderful job of protecting everything and making it easier to clean. My mom doesn’t get makeup in the car, but I think what I’m always cleaning off is lotion. Until last year I was using Sonax Plastic Care to treat all of the plastics in the car. I still use that, but I use Gtechniq Matte Dash on the actual dash surface.
You can get Gtechniq stuff either from Autogeek during one of their daily says (15% off happens all of the time, 20% every so often, with 25% being the max) or from DetailedImage.com. DI carries the latest Gtechniq stuff, but they always charge for shipping. You can order directly from Gtechniq but their minimum free shipping is $250.
