I bought a fancy Accord with a beak. I enjoy it, but it might be time for a change soon. Still, I like photographing it.

Tell me if you're planning to sell it. I'm looking at these for a first car and can't find a good example for a good price with a stick. I'll treat it well, and at least you'll know who has it and that I'll take care of it. If you don't think so, I'm telling ya right now I'll treat it better than anything else. I don't know. Just a thought.

I can now afford something newer and faster. I got two emails from CarMax this morning. The first one was congratulating me on a year with the TSX. The second said that a car transfer from another location is under way. I’ll be looking at it sometime next week.

Yeah, it was kind of an impulse. Both the TLX and GS are candidates (though the GS is barely within my budget) , but the car I’m getting transferred is neither.

Correct. I also have two other cars currently saved to my favorites, and there might be a couple more. My budget is about $25,000, but this particular one is less than that. I’ll make one big comparo post when I make a decision.

I won’t go into more detail, but she did say it wasn’t anything I did. I still don’t know if that makes it better or worse. But, there are other factors involved in the likely car change. I’m likely to get a longer commute soon, through city traffic, and I’d rather have an automatic DD in that circumstance. Plus it would give me a reason to drive the Prelude again. (That said, one of the cars I’m looking at is manual-only, but it is the exception.)

I’m always sketched out by pictures of cars not all the way in their lane. The roads that get less traffic where I could take such a picture are all twisty and people blow through them at 60 MPH, so if a car is stopped in the middle of the road or even in its own lane, there’s a decent chance it will get hit. Great pictures, though.
