A GM/FCA merger makes me gag. Hyundai/FCA at least gives me hope that the American-ness of Dodge and the quirkiness of the Italian companies would remain:

If it’s based on the Panda Cross or Panda 4x4 and has a manual option I could consider it if it doesn’t look terrible.

That actually would make a lot of sense. Hyundai is taking a beating in sales for not having enough SUVs, and FCA makes almost nothing but.

Hyundai would kill FCA
